Brief: Craft a Māori communications and engagment strategy for Crown Research Institute, ESR
Contributors: Project Lead – William Stewart;
In collaboration with Crown Research Institute ESR, we spearheaded the development of a tailored Māori communications and engagement strategy to support the Institute to become a more inclusive, connected and respected Te Tiriti-centric organisation.
Guided by our deep appreciation for the cultural nuances and aspirations of hāpori Māori, we crafted an approach that fostered meaningful connections with whānau, hapū and iwi, and amplified Māori voices within ESR’s initiatives.
With our rich understanding of Te Ao Māori (the Māori world), we ensured that the strategy was deeply founded in kaupapa Māori, and incorporated culturally appropriate channels and protocols.
Our proven expertise in Māori engagement and communication allowed us to devise a strategy that resonated authentically with Māori stakeholders, paving the way for enhanced relationships between ESR and Māori, enabling the Institute to elevate Māori perspectives and contribute to equitable outcomes for Māori within the work the organisation does.
